Itinerary

Departures Monday to Saturday, Full day Explore the fabulous ‘tea route’ of Mauritius to experience incredible scenery, a rich history, and a treat for the senses. Your day starts with a visit to Domaine des Aubineaux, a colonial house of the late 19th Century that will immerse you in the region’s history and antique furnishings. Bois Chéri, the first tea plantations of Mauritius, will provide insight into the process of tea making, as well as a tasting session. Stunning panoramic views of the Island surround you as you sip a perfectly crafted cup of tea. In the Sugar Estate, Saint Aubin, a visit to a rum distillery and sugar factory will get tastebuds tingling, ‘while La Maison de la Vanille’ will provide an unforgettable aroma. The tour finishes with a sumptuous Creole lunch and a visit to the Aldabra Giant Tortoises and lush vegetation of La Vanille Reserve des Mascareignes.
