ITINERARY:Days 1 – 2: Sydney Upon arrival in Sydney transfer to your hotel for a 2-night stay. Your time is at leisure here to explore the city and perhaps take in a sightseeing tour or do a spot of shopping.
Day 3: Sydney – Indian Pacific Rail Morning at leisure. Depart Sydney in the afternoon for a true journey of contrasts through the heights of the majestic Blue Mountains and across the barren expanse of the Nullarbor Plain, to lush vineyards and vast goldmines. Named for the 2 oceans the train encounters on its journey, the Indian Pacific travels between Sydney and Perth, via Adelaide, in a spectacular 4,352km journey. After a sumptuous dinner, join
other guests for a few late night drinks or head to your cabin to settle in early and await the sights of your first incredible outback sunrise the next day. (BLD)
Day 4: Broken Hill – Adelaide Wake up as you arrive in Broken Hill, a classic mining town where the streets are wide and there is a pub on every corner. On your Off Train Excursion, explore the beauty of this Silver City and discover the history of mining that makes the town what it is today and the artistic culture that also abounds in the area. Stepping back onboard for breakfast, enjoy a full day onboard to yourself. By the time lunch is served, you’ll already be well into South Australia on the southern tip of the Flinders Ranges and in no time, you’ll notice a dramatic change in landscape as the outback makes way for the green and golden fields of South Australia’s food bowl. Your choice this afternoon of touring and dinner off train is the picturesque city of Adelaide, one of South Australia’s famous wine regions or the Adelaide Hills. You will
then be transferred back to Adelaide, ready to continue your journey to Perth. For your next epic 24 hours, you’ll embark on the longest leg of the journey across the Nullarbor Plain. (BLD)
Day 5:Nullarbor Wake up and marvel at the raw beauty of the Nullarbor. Taking its name from the Latin meaning ‘no trees’, the ancient Nullarbor conjures the sense of limitless space and time. Take some time to reflect on the changing landscapes in your journey and to enjoy the hospitality of the Outback Explorer Lounge as you travel across Australia’s longest single stretch of railway. Your sense of wonder will be well and truly ignited when it comes time to set foot at Rawlinna that evening. Day 6: Perth The Avon Valley beckons you in the morning – the mild skies and cool green vales of this picturesque part of the world will truly delight. Arrive into the cosmopolitan western capital of Perth after lunch, having finished an epic Australian journey endto-end. Transfer to your hotel for a 2-night stay. (BL)
Day 7: Perth Your time is at leisure here to explore the city and perhaps take in a sightseeing tour or do a spot of shopping.

Milford Sound, situated within Fiordland National Park, a natural wonder and a haven for all types of wildlife. You will also visit Doubtful Sound with its unusual ecosystem of fresh and saltwater and Dusky Sound with its steep cliffs that have been carved over centuries by dozens of waterfalls. Visit Dunedin, home to New Zealand’s only castle and Akaroa nestled in the heart of an ancient volcano, rich with beautiful bays and colonial history.
